WATERBURY HEALTH HOLDS THIRD PINK MASK CAMPAIGN FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
WATERBURY, Conn. – Oct. 15, 2022 – Waterbury HEALTH Breast Cancer Center is sponsoring the Third Annual Pink Mask Campaign to raise awareness about Breast Cancer and the importance of prevention and early detection.
As part of the campaign patients and employees of Waterbury HEALTH will be given free pink masks to wear during the month of October. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer. This will be the third year Waterbury HEALTH is giving away pink masks as part of this campaign.
Masks can be picked up at the following Waterbury HEALTH Locations:
Breast Health Center, 134 Grandview Ave., Suite 105, Waterbury, and
32 Poverty Road, Southbury
Waterbury Hospital Imaging, 64 Robbins Street, Ground Floor
Alliance Medical Group, 1625 Straits Turnpike, Middlebury, Surgery Suite, 200
For each mask worn in October, Waterbury HEALTH Breast Health Center will donate $1 to Are You Dense, a non-profit that educates women about breast density and how it affects cancer detection
